Taking a leaf out of Jacq’s book

So I’m taking a leaf out of my sister’s book and making a list to while away the time as my chicken and coconut curry simmers quietly on the stove top. For some reason I feel that Jacq’s book is made of fabric, with those cool crinkled cut edges like yummy chicken flavoured chips. Anyway, I digress! The list! Cue the music! Raise the curtain! Let the show begin!!!!

Random Stupid Acts and Items That I Don’t Like This Week
- Stupid jokes about stupid things I did over a year ago….and having no comeback
- 3:30am text messages from work
- Family Gatherings with tension thicker than a rubgy player’s neck
- Button impressions on my tummy from too tight jeans from too much food on a toootally cool
holiday (okay, stretched it a bit on the word play there!)
- Headaches. I rarely, if ever get them (thanks for that genetic defect Nana!), but wow, they suck
when you do!
- Jetlag
- Doing a stack of laundry and then having no pegs left on the line to hang it with
- Driving my muffler-free car that is louder than a choir of deaf people singing opera.

Random Excellent Acts and Items I Have Loved This Week (Rule – MUST double the above list!)
- Falling down the stairs at work in front of clients and our receptionist, causing everyone to crack
up laughing. Nice to know I am still fabulous comedic value!
- Thursday Night Music Practices and the creation of new electronic sounds like ‘Ambient Fog’
- Being called cute on Sunday night and almost being okay with it. For the record, I DON’T do
cute!
- Having my best mate Kristy spontaneously drop in for a cuppa
- Listening surreptiously to Hamish and Andy at work, disguising it as work and trying to cover up
snorting laughter as an allergy attack.
- Seeing my big bro yesterday!
- Receiving an AMAZING vision from God showing me what his life plan is for me, VERY cool!
- Free lemon slice
- Funky new earrings that are SO me!
- Housemate hugs
- Holga camera fun at La Porchetta’s with the gang courtesy of Jacq

- Cute new shoes from LA (NOTE, okay so I can WEAR things that are ‘cute’ but don’t you even
dare tell me I look ‘cute’, I’m a grown woman buster!)
